The Secret of Success & Luck

Those who achieve success say the key is skill not luck. They say it’s their skill that built the connections, created the content, and grew the traffic that made it rain.

Those who still seek success say it’s not skill but luck. They believe that the connections are privileged, the content ordinary, and the traffic miraculous. They believe the rain is beyond their control. Sometimes you get wet, sometimes you stay dry as a bone.

Neither of them is entirely right.

There are things that are chance we try to make otherwise. Anyone can look back and make up a story about how their post went viral. It makes for good Internet fodder, but it falls far short of proven causation. But it doesn’t mean you’re a victim of chance.

Even if you don’t get all the luck, you can keep trying to serve someone everyday.Tweet: Even if you don’t get all the luck, you can keep trying to serve someone everyday. @mindfitmove http://ctt.ec/aX0pu+

You can face your fears. You can keep learning. You can develop grit.

Stop worrying about luck or not luck. Instead pursue a clear understanding of your purpose. Because it’s in seeking a deep understanding of yourself, that you lose everything you need to be free in ways you couldn’t possibly imagine.
