Waiting

Lines are a funny thing.

The capacity is full so we wait, not clumped or milling but in a line.

The space keeps the order, makes it fair, and status is clear.

But a lot of lines are complexified.

If you’re a legacy the line is shorter, you can buy an express pass and wait less, I know a guy who can help you cut the line.

We have no problem standing in line for a roller coaster or to buy bread, but we don’t want the line for the doctor to be too long. For a doctor you sit.

How you create the line is how you create the rules, how you craft fairness and order, and how you decide who gets to your valuable time, tools, and experience first.

Choose your lines wisely.
